Radio Maria El Salvador warmly welcomed the visit of His Excellency the Apostolic Nuncio to El Salvador, Monsignor Luigi Roberto Cona, in the afternoon of Wednesday 14 January, at the headquarters in San Salvador.
Monsignor Luigi Roberto Cona contacted Radio Maria El Salvador to arrange a visit, a tour of the facilities, and the broadcast of a special programme about the “Safe Water” project. This project will bring drinking water to the most vulnerable communities in the country.
The staff of Radio Maria El Salvador prepared with care to receive His Excellency with a guard of honour. Monsignor Roberto Cona then greeted each member of Radio Maria one by one before entering the chapel and visiting the studios.
Afterwards, the Editorial Director of Radio Maria El Salvador, Father Neftalí Rogel, happily hosted a live programme in which he interviewed the Nuncio about the “Safe Water” project.
After the programme ended, the President of Radio Maria El Salvador, Dr. José Mauricio Velado, and Father Neftalí Rogel had the honour of meeting with the Apostolic Nuncio and sharing refreshments together.
